SPIELFILM - "NINE ELEVEN"
Never
say never!
After
ten years, Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid in the "Harry Potter"
films) shines once more as the brilliant grumpy psychologist. For
ten years Fitz (Robbie Coltrane) has been bored in Australia with
his wife Judith. To attend the wedding of their daughter Katy both
travel to Manchester. There not only knots are tied, but also
fates are set: Policeman and former soldier Kenny (Anthony
Flanagan) murders two US citizens. Detective Walters, miscast
superintendent of the department, does not suspect what the
audience knows for a long time: The wanted culprit is one of his
men. Walters asks Fitz for help, who begins to understand bit by
bit: The murderer, to whom the effects of September 11th, 2001
caused a specific psychosis, is a living time bomb. On the
following Sundays, the ZDF is going to show two old episodes of
the extraordinary British series.
